ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) Chris Riouse scored 32 points, including a school-record ten 3-pointers, as Oral Roberts routed Oakland 90-to-53.
Yesterday's win gave the Golden Eagles a season sweep of Oakland, the team that upset them in the Mid-Continent Conference tournament final last season.
Larry Owens added 20 for Oral Roberts, as he and Riouse fell one point short of equaling Oakland's point total by themselves.
The loss was the most lopsided for the Golden Grizzlies since a 68-to-30 defeat at Northwestern in 1998, and the worst home loss in coach Greg Kampe's 22 seasons.
With the win, ORU improves to 15-and-9 and 10-and-2 in conference play.
