NORMAN, Okla. (AP) _ Daniel McCutchen scattered five hits over ten innings to lead Oklahoma to a 1-and-0 victory over U-C Riverside.
It was the first career complete-game shutout for McCutchen, who struck out six and walked two.
With the bases loaded in the bottom of the tenth inning, Oklahoma broke a scoreless tie when pinch hitter Ryan Mottern singled to right field to score Ryan Rohlinger.
Rohlinger went 2-for-4, and Mottern went 1-for-2 with the game-winning R-B-I.
UC Riverside's James Simmons allowed just three hits in seven scoreless innings, striking out ten and walking none.
Reliever Dan Runzler took the loss for the Highlanders after giving up the one run on three hits. He walked two and struck out three.
