Tulsa Fire Department gets $500 grant for it's smoke detector program

Updated:
A Tulsa insurance agent was recognized Tuesday for her community involvement and her good deeds also paid off for the Tulsa Fire Department.

Allstate agent Tracy Morton: "I wanted to present this $500 check to you, this is for all the good you do in the community."

Tracy Morton actively volunteers for the Tulsa Fire Department by providing safety materials for school age children. She won the Allstate Insurance "Agency Hands in the community" award. With that, came a $500 grant from the Allstate Foundation to the Tulsa Fire Department.

TFD says they'll use the money to purchase smoke detectors for low-income families in Tulsa.
