Sand Spring educator injured in an accident is remembered by his students

A longtime Tulsa area educator is in critical condition after a motorcycle accident. Bob Purcer is an assistant principal at Clyde Boyd middle school in Sand Springs.

He was severely injured April 3rd and has been in intensive care since the accident. Students have made more than 100 cards for Purcer and he is in the thoughts and prayers of many co-workers and friends.

Clyde Boyd School principal Richard Rosenberger: "People are concerned. I'm getting emails from people who don't even live in this state anymore that have some kind of connection with him. Please put me on this email update list."

There will be a blood drive this Saturday for Bob Purser. It's from 9 AM until 2 PM Saturday at View Acres Baptist Church, located at 2327 South 65th West Avenue.
