An early Wednesday morning traffic accident sends one person to the hospital.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers say a pick-up was exiting I-44 onto 51st Street West and lost control on a curve.

The driver ended up crashing, and his truck caught fire. He was taken to an area hospital. There's no word at this time on his condition.

A close call for a woman early Wednesday, when she flipped her car. It happened around 1:45 AM on a service road next to Highway 169 near 66th Street North.

The woman was unfamiliar with the road. She went off the side causing the car to overturn.

She was not hurt.
