OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma now has an executive director to run the state lottery.
The state Lottery Commission is hiring Missouri State Lottery director James Scroggins.
Scroggins will be paid a base salary of $175,000 a year and will receive a $30,000, one-time payment to cover his travel, moving expenses and temporary living costs as he moves to Oklahoma.
In addition, he'll receive a $25,000 bonus if instant tickets go on sale in October and another $25,000 if online sales start by January 2006.
Scroggins is expected to start on June 6th.
He's been the director of the Missouri lottery for the last 13 years and before that he was the head of the Pennsylvania state lottery.
