UNDATED (AP) _ Traffic deaths are on the decline in Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says fewer motorists have died in traffic mishaps this year than during the same period last year.
Troopers say a total of 335 people had died in highway collisions in the state at this time last year. So far this year, the patrol says 240 people have been killed. That's a drop of more than 30 percent.
So far this month, two people have been killed in traffic collisions. Six had died during the same period last year.
