Updated:
A nationally known Christian recording artist is honoring our nation’s military men and women. Dennis Jernigan has a new patriotic themed CD out, called "I Salute You."

Over the past two decades, Jernigan has written more than 2,000 songs and has released more than two dozen CD's. He says his new patriotic release, is very meaningful. "Those guys, those gals, they are there preserving our freedom. They're fighting for what we hold dear and we take for granted here.”

Jernigan hopes to perform and minister to US military men and women in Baghdad by the end of the year.
