A busy Tulsa County highway was shut down early Tuesday following an injury accident.

It happened around 1:30 AM at Highway 64 and 129th West Avenue in Sand Springs. Sand Springs Police say the driver of an eastbound pickup apparently swerved to miss an animal, went over the median and then overturned.

A male passenger was thrown from the truck. We don't have his condition. No one else, including a small child was hurt in the accident.

Highway 64 had to be shut down for more than an hour to clean up the scene.
