OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The voice of 2005 "American Idol" winner Carrie Underwood will soon be coming to a TV near you.

The Checotah native will sing classic jingles in a new TV campaign for the Hershey Company.

Underwood will sing "Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't," for Almond Joy and Mounds; "Give me a break," for Kit Kat Bars; and "Hershey's is the great American chocolate bar."

Hershey's vice president of US chocolate brands Jay Cooper says having Underwood sing the songs gives a modern twist to the candy.

Underwood also will be the spokeswoman for Skechers shoes in an ad campaign that begins in the fall.
