A Tulsa teen is recovering after she's hit by a car early Monday morning.

It happened in the 3200 block of North Lewis shortly after midnight. Tulsa Police say the 17 year old girl started across the street and walked right into the car.

The driver didn't see her until it was too late. The victim has a broken leg and head injury. She's at a Tulsa hospital and there is no word on her condition.

The driver was not ticketed.
