A Tulsa hotel was evacuated Wednesday morning after a driver slammed his car into the building.

Tulsa Police say about 7:30 AM, a man apparently lost control of his car and crashed into the Comfort Suites at 33rd and Memorial.

Emergency crews cleared everyone out of the hotel due to concerns over a gas leak and stored pool chemicals. Everyone was allowed back in a short time later.

The driver ran from the scene.
