Some of the Harlem Globetrotter's youngest fans hit the hardwood Monday with their favorite players.
Monday was the first day of Harlem Globetrotters Start Basketball Camp 2005. Monday morning, Tulsa kids got a rare chance to learn more about the game of basketball and sharpen their skills, but that's not the only lesson the team wants the kids to learn.
Herbert "Flight-Time" Lang: "People think when they come to camp they're going to learn a lot of tricks but we try to teach fundamentals. We try to teach kids how to be good people and team work, things you need to be successful in everyday world and everyday society."
The first day of camp was a success. More than 150 kids turned out for Monday's event.
