AUSTIN, Texas (AP) -- Country music singer Larry Gatlin will star in a new national tour of The Will Rogers Follies that opens Saturday in Austin, Texas.
The show is based on the life of the Oklahoma native who died in a plane crash in Alaska 70 years ago last week.
This is the fifth national tour of the show that first opened on Broadway in 1991 and won six Tony Awards.
The show will be seen in several cities until Thanksgiving, then take a break until January.
Shows are scheduled in Oklahoma City and Tulsa early next year.
