OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Police are asking anyone with information about the death of a work-release inmate in northwest Oklahoma City to give them a call.
Sandra Panell's body was found outside an Oklahoma City business on Saturday. Investigators say she suffered multiple stab wounds to the neck.
The 49-year-old Pannell was an inmate at the Kate Barnard Community Corrections Center.
Corrections Department spokesman Jerry Massey says she had 2002 and 2004 convictions for driving under the influence and distribution of a controlled substance.
Massey says Pannell left the corrections center about 4:30 AM Saturday to walk to work at a Coit's Root-Beer Drive In on north Portland.
Police say a passer-by spotted her body two hours later in the parking lot of Taylor Made Signs.
