Tulsans are definitely doing their part to help Hurricane Katrina victims.

The city of Tulsa has teamed up with Guts Church and www.teamrelief.com to adopt the city of Long Beach, Mississippi. Pastor Bill Scheer with Guts Church: "there was an outcry from Mississippi; we just called the governor of Mississippi.”

Tulsa mayor Bill LaFortune: "this is not just about Katrina; this will build a long lasting relationship for a long time to come.”

If you want to help the residents of Long Beach, you can donate needed items at Guts Church any day between 9 AM and 9 PM. For a list of needed items, go to www.teamrelief.com.
