A pair of hurricane evacuees are starting a new life together, with the help of lots of new friends.

Joanne and Raymond Jee's New Orleans home was destroyed in the storm, but their love for each other made it through unscathed. They were able to get married Sunday in Tulsa, thanks to donations from generous people and businesses who supplied everything from Joanne's dress, to the flowers she carried down the isle.

The newlyweds say they're overwhelmed by the tremendous outpouring of support from people who were total strangers just a couple weeks ago. "We thought losing New Orleans was the end of life, but this turned out to be a new life. Oklahoma's been good to us, very good to us, the city of Tulsa, overwhelming."

Joanne and Raymond are looking for a new home in Tulsa.
