Students and administrators at Sand Springs’ Charles Page High School joined together Wednesday morning in an effort to raise money for a hurting family.

Sand Springs Junior Kevin Dillman died last week after he fell off the back of a car. Wednesday, students and administrators went from classroom to classroom taking up donations for the Dillman family.

High school junior Shane Devers: "I think it's very important for his family. His family knows that we care now."

The collection raised $868 for the Kevin Dillman Memorial Fund.

If you would like to donate to the fund, you can do so at American Heritage Bank in Sand Springs.
