OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Oklahoma Highway Patrol investigators are still reconstructing two high-performance boats involved in a deadly collision during a poker run at Lake Texoma.
Five people were killed Saturday when the two boats collided, leaving one of the boats in little more than pieces.
A sixth man remained in fair condition at a Dallas hospital.
The patrol says its too early to tell if speed or alcohol played a factor in the crash.
An organizer of similar poker-run events says fatalities are a rarity.
Poker Runs America Magazine's editor-at-large Richard Crowder says boating poker runs are becoming more popular, and that similar events are held for motorcyclists, snowmobilers and even pilots.
In poker runs, participants get a playing card at five different stops and win if they have the best poker hand at the end.
