Shots rang out off Gun Club Road just before 1:30 Sunday morning. Officers say three men were shot at the "On the Rocks" Bar.

Okmulgee Police called in the Oklahoma State Bureau Of Investigation to help with the investigation. They found 21-year-old Randy James in the worst shape. He was shot four times, once in the chest. 25-year-old Michael Wilson was shot twice in the arm and once in the rear. 16-year-old Stephen Perry was shot in the abdomen.

All three were taken to Tulsa hospitals.

The bar is connected to a Mexican restaurant and a "Best Western" motel. Employees at the motel say no guests were hurt.

Police say they still have more questions than answers. OSBI believes the shooter used a handgun, but are still guessing on the caliber. Investigators are still looking into what set the gunman off. They suspect - but can't yet confirm - that the incident is gang-related.

Police say gang-related incidents in Okmulgee aren't completely surprising. Officers say often members from Tulsa gangs will come down US Highway 75 and use Okmulgee as an out-of-the-way hideout.

Together, the OSBI and Okmulgee Police interviewed the victims and witnesses, trying to put this puzzle together.
