Age and drought are taking a toll on the famous Azaleas in Muskogee.
City officials say some of the azaleas in Honor Heights Park are almost 40-years-old. They say for plants like these in this part of the world it's a full life cycle.
They also say the drought of the last two years has made the azaleas less spectacular. With donations, about a-thousand new plants are brought in each year.
The blooms will look a little thin for a couple of years but should improve after that.
