Updated:
A Bartlesville woman accused of killing her estranged husband by driving over him has pled not guilty.

62-year-old Marilyn Jo Goetz was arraigned this week in Washington County District Court on a second-degree murder charge in the death of 79-year-old Elmer Goetz last September.

According to a police affidavit, Marilyn Goetz was in her vehicle in a driveway when Elmer Goetz approached the car. The affidavit says she accelerated, hitting him and then ran over him.

The couple had filed protective orders against each other. A trial is set for October 16th.
