A string of armed robberies in south Tulsa has police looking for suspects.

News on 6 reporter Carina Sonn says there were four armed robberies overnight, all happened within an hour of each other and Tulsa Police think the incidents may be connected.

The first armed robbery happened around 11 PM at the Wimbledon Place Apartments at 7600 East 49th Street. We're told three black males with a 9 millimeter gun approached a man and took his wallet. Just minutes later, officers were called to the Westminster Apartments right next door where another person was robbed.

Tulsa Police say the last two armed robberies happened at the Red River Apartments at 1500 East 71st Street. Three black males wearing white jerseys approached a couple and pointed a gun at them. They took the man's wallet.

The three suspects may have also robbed another man in the same complex. The men may have been driving a silver Saturn.

Shortly after midnight, Tulsa Police received a call from one of the first victims. They say their bank contacted them, after someone tried to use their stolen bank card at the ATM at a Quik Trip at 51st and Sheridan. The suspects got away.

If you have any information that can help police, you are asked to call Crimestoppers at 596-COPS. You can remain anonymous.
