An eastern Oklahoma family welcomes their loved one home from Iraq. US Marine Corporal Frankey Copeland flew into Tulsa International Airport Tuesday on a two week leave.

Copeland's wife and 2-year-old daughter were waiting with open arms.

He says he plans to enjoy every moment he's home, because even though he is proud of his service, the day to day reality in Iraq is difficult. "It sacrifices everything, everything you're used to. Nothing's there anymore, it's just you and your buddies to the left and right. Nothing is the same from the food to the people you meet to the people you talk to, to the job you were doing in the states to the job you're doing over there. Everything's changed, it's a new world."

Corporal Copeland said the first thing he wanted to do, was take a shower.

He hopes to be home for good early next year.
