TU may see different starting quarterback for North Texas

TULSA, Okla. (AP) _ The Tulsa Golden Hurricane may see a new North Texas starting quarterback when the two teams play Saturday.

North Texas coach Darrell Dickey says junior college transfer Woody Wilson is the likely starter _ replacing Matt Phillips for the Mean Green.

Wilson took over for Phillips during the second quarter last week and led North Texas to a 24-to-6 win over SMU. He completed 8-of-10 passes for 103 yards and ran for 74 yards, including a 33 yard touchdown run.

Kickoff is at 6 Saturday night at Skelly Stadium.
