NORMAN, Okla. (AP) What's in a name?

If the name is â€œSooner,â€ it could mean bragging rights for the best team mascot in the nation.

Oklahoma's mascot has been named to the 5th annual Capital One All-America Mascot Team.

The team's made up of the nation's best mascots. Sooner was the only mascot to make the team from the Big 12 Conference.

Fans will determine the winner. Online voting consists of eleven weekly head to head matchups between the All-Americans. The 6 mascots with the best win/loss records will face off in online playoffs starting in November.

Other mascots on the All-America team are â€œThe Birdâ€ from the Air Force Academy, â€œBig Redâ€ from Western Kentucky University and â€œBuzzâ€ from Georgia Tech.
