Getting Rid Of Rats In A Muskogee Neighborhood

olks in a Muskogee neighborhood say overgrown weeds and illegal dumping along railroad tracks created a breeding ground for rats.

They say rats invaded their homes and one man was even bitten.

To help solve the problem, Burlington Northern-Santa Fe Railroad mowed the tall weeds in front of the railroad tracks. And some city workers volunteered their time to clear the rest of the brush and trash.

The city says now that the area has been cleared, the city says they will be able to maintain it.
