STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) _ Oklahoma State athletic director Mike Holder says Cowboys fans need to be patient and that OSU is committed to football coach Mike Gundy.
OSU is 3-and-2 with two straight losses including Saturday's 31-to-27 loss at Kansas State. The Cowboys led K-State by 10 points with just under four-and-a-half minutes to play but gave up two late touchdowns.
Holder says constantly changing coaches is no way to build a quality football program and he's giving Gundy and his staff an opportunity to show they can do the job.
Gundy has five years left on his contract and Holder says he'll wait and see where OSU is in five years.
