Peterson says he's out four to six weeks, might play in bowl

Updated:
NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Oklahoma running back Adrian Peterson says he's out for 4-6 weeks with a broken collarbone and he calls the injury ``crazy.''

Peterson spoke to reporters yesterday but did not discuss whether he'll enter the NFL draft next spring.

Peterson was hurt when he lunged into the end zone during Saturday's game against Iowa State and says he must have landed awkwardly.

And he admits he's still in a great deal of pain but hopes to continue conditioning work after a few more days of rest and he says no one should be surprised if he plays in a bowl game.
