Oklahoma Traffic Fatalities Remain Below 2005 Level

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- The number of people killed in traffic accidents on Oklahoma roadways in 2006 remains below 2005 levels.

The state Department of Public Safety says 631 people have died on the state's roads this year. That's down by 42 from this time last year.

There have been 19 traffic fatalities so far in November this year compared to 26 at this point in November 2005.
