TULSA, Okla. (AP) Oral Roberts rebounded from its recent shooting woes, routing visiting Lamar 88-63 on Monday night.
Oral Roberts (4-3) had struggled from the field since its upset of then-#3 Kansas on November 15th, but shot 54.4 percent from the field against Lamar. All 10 players who suited up for the Golden Eagles scored, led by forward Caleb Green, who finished with 26 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
Green went 10-10 from the free throw line, making as many free throws as Lamar (3-5) attempted.
The Golden Eagles led 46-24 at halftime thanks in good part to 5-9 shooting from 3-point range in the half. Oral Roberts finished 8-15 from behind the arc after going 12 for 75 during its previous four games.
The bulk of Lamar's offense came from three players, reserve Currye Todd scored 18 points, Darren Hopkins had 17 points and Lamar Sanders had 15 points. No other player for the Cardinals scored more than 4 points.
Moses Ehambe scored 13 points for Oral Roberts and Ken Tutt added 11.
