Getting Stolen Property Back To Its Rightful Owners

Rogers County Sheriff’s deputies, with help from Tulsa Police, found thousands of dollars worth of stolen items at a home near Oologah earlier this week.

News on 6 anchor Craig Day says deputies also found marijuana, cocaine, and meth and two dozen guns. Now the work begins to return stolen property to its owners.

One of the victims is Jerry Pack, whose tractor was stolen in Osage County. "My gosh, we never thought we'd see it again, and we saw it before the day was over.” Craig Day: “that doesn't happen very often.” Jerry Pack: “no it doesn't. We're pleased with this."

Rogers County Sheriff’s Office investigator Darrin Hester: "one was from Osage County, I've had contacts from Mayes County, Tulsa County Washington County and Rogers County of people who believe they saw their property on the news."

Deputies are in the process of itemizing all of the stolen items recovered.

Two people were arrested for possession of stolen property and possession of drugs with intent to distribute.
