NEW YORK (AP) _ Former Oklahoma Governor Frank Keating is one of several former Republican governors who'll meet in New York to discuss the party's future.
The meeting is being hosted by outgoing New York Governor George Pataki.
Pataki toured lower Manhattan Sunday with former Governors Bill Weld, Don Sundquist, David Beasley and Terry Brandstad.
Keating and former Governors John Engler, Bill Graves and Tommy Thompson joined the group for dinner and a discussion about the GOP.
Most of the former governors took office as the Republican Party took control of Congress in 1995. The GOP held control of Congress until the November elections.
