UNDATED (AP) -- This evening's NFL game is being played in St. Louis as the Rams entertain Chicago. This is a key game for each club as the Rams fight for a playoff berth and the Bears look to solidify their hold on the top-seed in the NFC.
St. Louis enters the game with five wins and seven defeats while the Bears, who have already clinched the NFC North, are 10-2. Despite the fact they've lost six of seven, the Rams still have a chance of making the playoffs. Receiver Torry Holt says that fact is, "hilarious," and, "just shows the parity of the NFC."
Defense is the name of the game for the Bears as they have allowed only 150 points this season, for an average of just 12.5 per game. That defense has been the cornerstone for the team which has struggled of late on offense behind quarterback Rex Grossman.
For the Rams, Steven Jackson is the key to the attack as he is enjoying his second straight 1,000 yard season. He's currently third in the league in yards from scrimmage, behind LaDainian Tomlinson and Larry Johnson.
