Shinn says some Hornets games be in Oklahoma City next season

Updated:
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ New Orleans Hornets owner George Shinn says the Hornets will return to New Orleans next year but he hopes to have some games in Oklahoma City.

Shinn says he's talking with NBA officials about the plan and will meet with city and state officials in New Orleans and Louisiana next week.

Shinn says he decided to stop trying to keep the team in Oklahoma City a few months ago while attending a church service.

The Hornets were temporarily moved to Oklahoma City after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans before last season.
