Son "Snapped" Before Killing Choctaw Family, Self, Father Says

CHOCTAW, Okla. (AP) -- The father of a Choctaw man who's believed to have killed his wife and 14-year-old daughter before committing suicide says his son "snapped."

Police say Robert Farmer shot and killed his wife Paula and daughter Kayla early Tuesday at their home then shot himself. All three were shot in the head.

Robert Farmer's father Bill says things went "from worse to worst lately" for his son and that he was under pressure and depressed.

Police have said Paula Farmer had recently told others she was planning to leave her husband.
