UNDATED (AP) _ Alex Rodriguez ended his hitting streak Tuesday night, but the New York Yankees' losing streak continues.

Rodriguez went 0-3 with a walk in the Yankees' fifth consecutive loss, a 6-4 setback against Tampa Bay. Rodriguez had hit safely in 23 straight games dating to last season, including 18 games this season.

The Yankees led 3-2 until Carl Crawford hit a grand slam in the 7th, allowing the Devil Rays to move ahead of the last-place Bombers in the American League East.

Toronto is back at .500 after Vernon Wells went 4-5 with 3 RBIs and 4 runs scored in the Blue Jays' 10-3 rout of Boston. Roy Halladay is 3-0 after giving up 3 runs and 5 hits while striking out 10 over 8 innings.

Dallas Braden allowed a run and 3 hits over 6 innings in his major league debut to lead Oakland past Baltimore 4-2. Todd Walker and Mike Piazza each scored a run and drove in another as the A's completed a sweep of the two-game set.

Orlando Cabrera and Vladimir Guerrero each went 3-5 with 2 RBIs and 2 runs scored as the Los Angeles Angels beat Detroit 9-8 in 10 innings. The Angels blew a 7-0 lead but scored the winning run on a fielders' choice after reliever Todd Jones threw away an infield single by Kendry Morales.

Seattle was supposed to play at Texas Tuesday afternoon, but the game was rained out and rescheduled for late July.

Over to the National League, where the Philadelphia Phillies have a four-game winning streak after scoring three times in the 7th inning of a 6-3 victory over Washington. Wes Helms snapped a 3-all tie with an RBI single, 1 inning after Aaron Rowand knotted the score with a solo homer.

The New York Mets pulled out a 2-1 win over Colorado on a drag-bunt single by Endy Chavez in the bottom of the 12th. Mets pinch-hitter Damian Easley tied the game with a 2-out homer in the 10th before Chavez bunted home Shawn Green for the winning run.

Paul Maholm tossed his first career complete game to lead Pittsburgh's 3-0 shutout of Houston. Maholm gave up just 3 singles and threw only 99 pitches in a game that lasted one hour and 57 minutes.

The Atlanta Braves' bullpen allowed just 2 hits over 6 shutout innings of an 11-6 win at Florida. Brian McCann, Jeff Francoeur and Scott Thorman each had 2 RBI's for the Braves, who scored all of their runs with 2 out.
