The city of Tulsa has presented the creator of "Bugs Bunny on Broadway", George Daugherty with carrots and a key chain. The Emmy Award winning composer met with the media at the Renaissance Hotel to talk about his upcoming show.

Daugherty says he wrote the concert in 1990 for Bugs' 50th birthday. Since then, it is sold out theaters worldwide. Daugherty says this concert will be a great opportunity to showcase Tulsa's Symphony Orchestra. "Once people come hear the amazing sound of a live symphony orchestra they get hooked. They come back immediately for what I like to refer to as normal concerts and this orchestra does wonderfully interesting concerts and great repertoire."

The show runs this Saturday and Sunday at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center.
