There has been an arrest in connection with a fire at the Boulder Plaza Apartments near downtown Tulsa. Firefighters were called out around 5 a.m. at 1840 South Boulder Avenue. Fire officials say there was a small fire in a fifth floor apartment. A resident quickly put it out. But smoke lingered through the building.
Several residents of the Boulder Apartments had to be helped to safety as a precaution. No one was hurt.
One woman was taken into custody and Tulsa Fire officials say she apparently set her mattress on fire. Fire officials say the unidentified woman is currently undergoing a mental evaluation.
