AOKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Six Oklahoma Sooners and two Oklahoma State Cowgirls are being named to the 2007 Midwest All-Region softball team.

OU's Lauren Eckerman, Samantha Ricketts, Norrelle Dickson, Amber Flores and Susan Ogden and O-S-U's Courtney Totte and Shanel Scott were all named to the 13-player first team.

OU's Traci Dickenson is on the second team.

The top-ranked Sooners begin play in the NCAA softball tournament tomorrow against Colgate in Amherst, Massachusetts.
