COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) _ Big 12 officials begin their annual meetings this week in Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Among the topics expected to be discussed are future sites for the basketball and football championships.

Both Oklahoma City and Tulsa are among five cities bidding to host the post-season men's and women's basketball tournaments starting in 2009.

A final decision is not expected this week and conference commissioner Kevin Weiberg has said his goal is to have a decision by the end of summer.

Dallas; Kansas City, Missouri; and Omaha, Nebraska, are also bidding for the basketball tournaments.
