A piece of electrical equipment that failed Wednesday evening at Tulsa International Airport causing a power outage has been replaced. Airport officials said Friday morning that everything at the airport, including the terminal’s air conditioning system is up and running again.

The electrical equipment broke late Wednesday, forcing Tulsa International Airport to use power generators to keep the terminal open. Airport spokesperson Alexis Higgins says the piece of equipment, which broke, was manufactured in Tennessee and flown in late Thursday.

Maintenance crews installed the 400-pound piece of equipment by midnight Thursday.
