Thereâ€™s now a fast and convenient way to turn your coins into paper money. MidFirst Bank has installed coin counting machines in all of their Tulsa-area banking centers, and theyâ€™re providing the service free of charge. The counters have easy-to-read instructions that print a receipt once all the coins are counted. Customers can then take the receipt to the teller for a direct deposit or cash.

"This is something that we think gives us an opportunity to extend the banks image, and to indicate that we're more than you'd expect from a bank providing a service that other people charge for," said Senior Vice President of MidFirst Bank Ed Fariss.

Officials say anyone can use the machines, so you don't have to be a MidFirst Bank customer.
