Suspect In Stand-Off Surrenders

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Oklahoma City police in a stand-off at a truck stop Wednesday morning say the suspect has surrendered.

Sergeant Paco Balderrama says Joshua Stuart surrendered several blocks from a truck stop that was surrounded by officers early Wednesday morning when Stuart was found at the business.

Stuart apparently escaped by running out the back of the business as police were arriving.

Balderrama says Stuart is wanted in connection with a shooting shortly after midnight at his ex-girlfriend's apartment in Bethany.

No injuries are reported in the shooting.
