OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) _ Formal murder charges are being filed against an Edmond teenager in the shooting death of his mother.

Seventeen-year-old Michael Willoughby is charged with first-degree murder in the death of Pauline Willoughby last Thursday.

Police were called to the family home last week when Clay Willoughby returned home to find blood on the garage floor and his wife, son and the wife's truck missing.

The truck was found stuck in mud in Logan County just north of the Oklahoma County line.

Logan County deputies then found Michael Willoughby walking nearby and he directed police to his stepmother's body.
