HOUSTON (AP) -- Dennis Lindsey, vice president for basketball operations for the Houston Rockets, says he's leaving the team to join the NBA champion San Antonio Spurs.
Lindsey would replace Sam Presti, the Spurs former assistant general manager who has been named general manager of the Seattle SuperSonics.
Cliff Puchalski, a Spurs spokesman, told The Associated Press the Spurs had no comment.
The Houston Chronicle said Lindsey's title had not been determined but said he was expected to serve in positions similar to the one Presti had in San Antonio and the one he has in Houston.
