A traffic accident on Interstate-44 shut down westbound lanes for about 45 minutes early Tuesday morning. About 4 a.m. Tuesday, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a semi truck headed eastbound hit a retaining wall. The truck came to rest in the westbound lanes of I-44, blocking off traffic.
The roadway has since been reopened to traffic.
The driver was not hurt in the accident.
