A Tulsa man is sentenced to life plus 45 years after being convicted of robbing and murdering a business owner last year.

20 year-old Bryan Bennett was sentenced Monday for the murder of John Thomas Junior. Investigators found Thomas inside his business. He'd been shot in the upper chest, arm and leg. Thomas died later at a hospital.

Bennett pleaded guilty to the robbery and murder, as well as armed robberies he committed a year ago at two QuikTrip stores.
