A Tulsa school bus driver has been arrested and accused of molesting a student. The News on 6 has learned the arrest is connected with an incident that allegedly happened on the bus last Friday between 25-year old Adrian Brown and a 16-year-old boy.

State law says even though 16 is the age of consent, no person of authority is allowed to have sexual contact with someone they supervise.

Brown has been a Tulsa Public Schools employee since 2000. He passed a mandatory drug test.

Brown was taken into custody at the Tulsa Public Schools bus yard. The school district says some of their busses are equipped with video cameras, but this particular bus wasn't.

Brown has been suspended until Tulsa Police complete their investigation. Depending on the outcome, termination proceedings could begin. Tulsa Public Schools Spokesman John Hamill says he anticipates those proceedings will get under way "very soon."
