Six killed in Philadelphia rowhouse fire

PHILADELPHIA (AP) _ A fast-moving fire broke out in a rowhouse before dawn Saturday, killing six people.

Two adults and four children, ranging in age from 2 to 12, died in the blaze in the city's North Philadelphia neighborhood, fire officials said.

Firefighters arrived to find the house engulfed in flames. Five of the people inside died at the scene. The sixth victim, a 2-year-old boy, died shortly after being taken to Temple University Hospital, officials said.

Investigators were trying to determine a cause.
